FROG JUMPING CONTEST

Saturday, August 21
In the valley, 3:30 p.m.
Registration begins at 3 p.m.

Registration fee of $1 per contestant

  1. This contest is all in FUN!
  2. All persons 14 years of age or younger are eligible to register.
  3. All persons eligible may register at 3 p.m., on Saturday.
  4. Registration will take place at the Frog Jumping Circle. Fee of $1 per contestant will be collected at registration.
  5. 32 participants will then be selected at random from all those registered.
  6. Frogs will be supplied by the committee. *
  7. For the preliminary heats the committee members will issue a different frog to each contestant. The final two contestants will be able to choose a frog prior to the final "jump-off."
  8. Contestants may do anything but touch the frog once the heat begins. Contestants will be disqualified if contact of any kind is made with the frog once the heat begins. Disqualification is decided by the committee members and is final.
  9. Contestants must stay within the inner circle during the contest or they will be disqualified.
  10. The first frog to cross the outer circle will win each heat. The winner will be determined by the committee members.

* A prize will be awarded to anyone who donates two or more frogs, of acceptable size, to the committee prior to the start of the fair on Wednesday, August 18, 2010.
