Kids’ Pedal Tractor Pull

Weigh-in: 4:00-4:45 p.m.
Event starts at 5 p.m.

RULES

  1. Parents, grandparents, or legal guardians must accompany the children and sign a release form (PDF). Babysitters cannot sign the release forms.
  2. Weight classes are as follows:
    30-45 pounds - Limit 40 children
    46-60 pounds - Limit 40 children
    61-80 pounds - Limit 40 children
  3. There will be no jerking at any time on the chain of the sled.
  4. Children must obey all verbal and hand signal commands of track officials or risk being disqualified.
  5. At least one hand must be on the steering wheel of the tractor at all times.
  6. The sled will be measured from the front bend of the sled.
  7. Within the first five feet of track, if the child's foot comes off the pedal, that pull is considered done.
  8. Forward motion is considered stopped when the sled pull chain becomes loose or the child cannot pull anymore, at the track officials' discretion.
  9. When any part of the tractor or sled touches the white boundary line, the pull is done.
  10. Full pull contestants will return for a pull off.
  11. If the equipment should malfunction, the child gets a re-pull.
  12. All track officials decisions will be final.
  13. We reserve the right to stop an individual pull at our discretion if the possibility of injury is present.
  14. Children are required to wear shoes; no sandals or bare feet will be allowed.
We reserve the right to change the rules at any time.
